20th FAST/SPS Expert Group – Jülich, Germany

STAR group members Simon Graham, Oliver Levano, Sam Lister, Beatriz Fernandez and Nigel Adams attended the 20th FAST/SPS Expert Group in Jülich, Germany. These meetings bring together researchers on field assisted sintering technology (FAST) from across Europe to share results and ideas.
Simon and Oliver gave presentations on some of their research, along with Oliver presenting some work on behalf of James Pepper who could not attend. In addition, Sam presented a poster. Overall, the meeting was very useful for us, with useful discussion taking place and a tour of the facilities at Jülich. We look forward to attending future meetings.
