Dr Kyle Marshall

Dr. Kyle Marshall completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield in 2014. Following this, he decided to join the Industrial Doctorate Centre in machining science. His EngD studies focused on the machining of Nickel-based superalloys for high-temperature aerospace applications, sponsored by Rolls-Royce, Carpenter Technology, and the EPSRC. 

His research work allowed him to interact with the multitude of processing steps involved in producing these alloys, and understanding how these processing steps influence the machinability of these materials was a key theme in his research.
