Simon Graham and Sam Lister attended the 21st FAST/SPS Expert Group in Saint Louis, France. These meetings bring together researchers on field assisted sintering technology (FAST) from across Europe to share results and ideas.
The meeting was hosted by Institut Franco-Allemand Recherche Saint Louis (ISL) and included a variety of interesting presentations on novel research. It was particularly interesting to see their facilities and how FAST processed materials are being trialled for defense purposes.
